Clearing is a way to for students to find space at a UK university very close to an intake.
University of Southampton Delhi is part of University of Southampton, delivering degree programmes to the same academic standards as those in the UK. This means that we can make Clearing offers at our Delhi campus using the same flexible Clearing criteria as University of Southampton in the UK.
You could get a Clearing offer based on Clearing A-level eligibility criteria for any programme shown in the list. You should consult both A-level equivalency tables to match these A-level criteria to those of your Board.

Your first step is to talk to the Clearing Hotline.Â
The Clearing Hotline is on +91 81307-90056, and you can get in touch through WhatsApp, or by giving them a quick call. The Clearing Hotline is open on 05-08 August from 9:00am to 6:00pm; and on 10-14 August from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Before you call, you must have your Class XII/academic results, including English scores, to hand or proof of English Language qualifications, if needed.
The second step is to complete an Application form, if you have not previously done so.
Before you apply, you must have your academic results ready as we make Unconditional offers directly during Clearing. If your previous studies were not in English, you'll need to give the name, date and reference number for the test results that you are using to prove your level of English.
Call the Clearing Hotline first to check programme availability and eligibility. Then complete your online application.
You can come to a Clearing event on campus and speak to the Clearing team face-to-face. Or, if you cannot come onto campus, get in touch with the Clearing team through the Clearing Hotline which is open 9:00am-6:00pm on 05-08 August & 10-14 August.
This is a chance to check eligibility for Clearing, see if there is space left on your programme, and see campus for yourself if you have not done so already.
The Clearing team will check original documents for you at the Clearing event. You should bring academic transcripts, as well as school board English scores, or English language test results and any other test scores that you will use to support your application, with you.
Clearing events take place on Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August 2026. Sessions run in the morning from 10:00am-12:00 noon, and in the afternoon from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Undergraduate programmes are available during Clearing while spaces are available. Where a programme is marked with 'LAST FEW SPACES', call us immediately. Contact us to discuss postgraduate offers.
