Dr Tanu Gupta is Lecturer in Economics at University of Southampton Delhi. Previously, she worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), New Delhi. Her research focuses on labor, environment, identity and agriculture. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai and was a Visiting PhD Fellow at UNU-WIDER, Helsinki. She completed her master’s in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals of international standing and has received competitive research grants. She is affiliated with the Centre for Research on the Economics of Climate, Food, Energy and Environment (CECFEE) and is a member of Women in Environmental Economics for Development (WinEED).

She previously taught at Queen Mary, University of London, and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research focuses on the careers of professional men and women in India, especially within multinational corporations. Dr Pasumarthy holds PhD Business and Management from Queen Mary, University of London. She has presented her research at major international conferences and is committed to promoting social justice, inclusion, and sustainability in academia and organisational environments.

Hemant Raj
Hemant Raj joined the University of Southampton, Delhi as a Lab Teaching associate in computer science. He has experience in Data Science and Robotics, having previously worked as a Coding Instructor. He has mentored undergrad students in AI/ML, and Robotics, and has conducted several AI/ML workshops across institutes.
Simarjeet Singh
Dr Simarjeet Singh is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Southampton Delhi, bringing strong academic and research expertise in finance, investment strategies, and applied financial education. Dr Singh holds a PhD in Finance from Punjabi University and is UGC-NET qualified and a former Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF). His academic work focuses on investment behaviour, factor-based investing, personal finance, combining rigorous research with practical classroom application and is an active contributor to leading business publications including Mint, Economic Times, Forbes India, and BusinessLine.
