Dame Wendy Hall, Regius Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southampton, UK, will be in India as part of the AI Impact Summit 2026.
She is Regius Professor of Computer Science, Associate Vice President (International Engagement), and Director of the Web Science Institute at the University of Southampton and will visit our campus as part of the line-up of events surrounding the AI Summit. During her visit, she will deliver a talk on Responsible AI.
Dame Wendy Hall will be accompanied by Professor Thomas Irvine, Deputy Director of the Web Science Institute at the University of Southampton. Professor Irvine is also a global historian of music and a digital humanist. He held a Mid-Career Fellowship from the British Academy (2018–2023) and was an Alan Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, where he led the project “Jazz as Social Machine.”
