Dibyendu Bose is the Chief Operating Officer at University of Southampton Delhi, focused on building a world-class university campus in India. He provides strategic and operational leadership for the international branch campus while maintaining alignment with the institution’s academic standards, policies, values, and transnational objectives.
Dibyendu brings a unique blend of international exposure and extensive background in higher education and corporate sectors having worked in leadership roles in India, US, UK, and Southeast Asia. He has a demonstrated track record of scaling university operations, launching innovative programmes, establishing global partnerships, deepening industry engagement, and enriching the end-to-end student journey.
Before joining University of Southampton, Dibyendu served in the management team of Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Under his leadership, Sasin made it to the Top 100 list in Financial Times Rankings for MBA, EMBA and Executive Education (custom). He was also instrumental in Sasin emerging as the first business school in Thailand to earn the maximum 5-year accreditation from EQUIS. Previously, Dibyendu was a member of the leadership team at Indian School of Business (ISB) and served in Dean’s Council, Digital Transformation, Rankings & Accreditation, Executive Education and HR committees. During his tenure ISB won the CASE Circle of Excellence Awards and CASE Platinum awards for alumni engagement initiatives.
A distinguished MIT Sloan Fellow and ISB alumnus, Dibyendu has been a speaker at global conferences and industry forums. He has also conducted masterclass on branding for Young President’s Organisation (YPO) and published a case study in Harvard Business Review. He serves as the Managing Director – Global TNE of Oxford International Education Group, and is passionate about the cause of making quality education accessible for learning without limits.
