Joint Management Board

The Joint Management Board (JMB) is the highest-level strategic body overseeing University of Southampton Delhi. It is responsible for strategic direction, performance monitoring, oversight of contractual obligations, approval of strategic and annual business plans, and ensuring academic freedom. It receives reports from the Campus Executive Board and considers changes to programme mix and campus estates. JMB acts as the formal bridge between University of Southampton Delhi and University of Southampton, ensuring alignment with University of Southampton's strategic goals and governance standards.

Membership

JMB is co-Chaired by University of Southampton Vice President International & Engagement, Professor Andrew Atherton, and by Oxford International Education Group Group Chief Executive Officer, Lil Bremmerman-Richards. Other members of JMB include senior leaders from Uuniversity of Southampton Delhi, University of Southampton and Oxford International Education Group.

Reporting

JMB reports into the University of Southampton Executive Board and the University of Southampton Senate.

Campus Executive Board

The Campus Executive Board (CEB) provides senior oversight of University of Southampton Delhi's operations and strategy implementation. It monitors delivery of the Campus Business Plan, oversees academic and professional services integration, and manages risk and compliance. CEB ensures that University of Southampton Delhi's operations reflect University of Southampton academic and operational standards.

Membership

CEB is chaired by Academic Provost & Associate Vice President, Professor Eloise Phillips. Other members of CEB include the Chief Operating Officer, Directors of Learning & Teaching, Director of Research & Enterprise, Recruitment, Admissions & Marketing Director, and Heads of Programme.

Reporting

CEB reports into the University of Southampton Delhi Joint Management Board and the University of Southampton Executive Board.

Campus Operations Board

The Campus Operating Board (COB) manages the operational delivery of services at University of Southampton Delhi, including marketing, recruitment, admissions, estates, and compliance. It monitors service levels, maintains the campus operations manual, and manages risk and escalation protocols. COB ensures that operational practices at University of Southampton Delhi are consistent with University of Southampton's expectations and service levels.

Membership

COB is chaired by Chief Operating Officer, Dr Vishal Talwar. Other members of COB include senior leaders from University of Southampton Delhi, University of Southampton and Oxford International Education Group.

Reporting

COB reports into the University of Southampton Delhi Joint Management Board.

Academic Advisory Board

The Academic Advisory Board (AAB) supports academic alignment with University of Southampton through quality assurance and curriculum oversight. It advises on academic quality, curriculum development, and educational standards.

Membership

AAB is chaired by Director of Learning and Teaching, Dr Sagaya Amalathas.

Reporting

AAB reports into the University of Southampton Delhi Campus Executive Board and the University of Southampton Education and Student Experience Committee.
